The Baguio City E-Lions emerged victorious in the Secondary Girls Volleyball Championship of the CARAA Meet 2026, defeating Ifugao in a four-set battle, 25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-16, to clinch the title with a 3-1 series win.![]()

Baguio opened the match strong in Set 1, controlling the tempo and showcasing sharp attacks and solid floor defense to secure a 25-18 victory.![]()

Ifugao answered back in Set 2, tightening their defense and capitalizing on key rallies to edge Baguio, 25-23, and even the match at one set apiece.![]()

In Set 1, both teams traded points early, staying tied at 18-all. Baguio then sparked a 7-1 run, creating a decisive gap that Kalinga could not overcome, taking the set 25-19.![]()

Set 2 saw Baguio take control from the start, building an early lead at 15-7. Kalinga tried to fight back, but the E-Lions responded with a strong 8-3 run, closing the set 25-16 and sealing the championship.![]()

Apayao attempted to rally following a brief Benguet hiccup marked by two errors and an ace that trimmed the lead to 19-15. The Eagles mounted a 4-0 run, forcing a second timeout and momentarily shifting the momentum. However, Benguet quickly regrouped. A service error by Apayao, followed by two crucial aces, widened the gap to 22-15 and prompted another Apayao timeout. Despite an exchange of points late in the set, an Apayao error sealed the 25-18 win for Benguet.![]()

What followed was a neck-and-neck battle, with Benguet committing seven errors but continuing to produce timely attacks to stay level. The teams were deadlocked at 16-all before Benguet sparked a two-point run, forcing Apayao to call time at 18-16.![]()

Refusing to surrender, Apayao clawed back and equalized at 23-all, extending the set to 24-all in a tense finish. In the decisive moments, Benguet delivered under pressure—capping the match with a powerful attack and a service ace to secure the 26-24 victory and the championship crown.![]()
