Mandate
Advices the Honorable Governor, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and other Provincial and national officials concerned regarding disposition of Provincial funds and on such other matters relative to public finance;- Takes custody and exercises proper management of all provincial funds;
- Takes charge of the proper disbursement of all provincial funds and such other funds the custudy of which may be entrusted to the Office by law or other competent authority;
- Collects taxes, fees and charges throughout the province as authorized by law and ordinances;
- Inspects under Authority all Private Commercial and Industrial Establishments within the Province in Relation to the Implementation of Provincial Tax Ordinance;
- Maintains and updates the tax information system of the Province;
- Exercises technical supervision over all treasury offices of the municipalities of Benguet;
- Exercises such other powers and performs such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinances; and
- Maintains Electronic Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (eSRE) of the Province. (Department Order 034-2014 dated May 16, 2014).
