Mandate
Supervision, establishment and maintenance of sound human resource program and related activities designed to promote career growth, succession planning, and personnel development.
Plan, recommend, coordinate, and supervise projects, programs and activities on human resources related matters;
Enforce rules and regulations relating to recruitment, appointment, separation of officials and employees, employee discipline, and other personnel actions and uphold the merit principle in the Provincial Government;
Wage and salary administration, ensure employee welfare and benefits;
Rewards and recognition, performance management evaluation;
Assist in the continuing study and analysis of the internal organization and management practices with the end view of instituting administrative reforms; and
Liaise with other Government agencies on human resource matters.
