Happy Women's Month!

Ngayong buwan ng Marso ipinagdiriwang natin ang mga pang-sosyal, pang-ekonomiya, pang-kultural, at pampolitikal na kontribusyon ng mga kababaihan sa pag-unlad ng ating lipunan.

Malaki ang papel na ginagampanan ng ating mga kababaihan sa pagsulong ng ating ekonomiya at maging sa pagpapatibay ng relasyong pampamilya.

Kami po ay nagpapasalamat sa inyo at patuloy na sumusuporta sa pagpapaigting ng mga polisiya na nagpapalakas at nagpoprotekta sa mga kababaihan.

Hinihikayat natin ang lahat ng mga organisasyong pangkababaihan dito sa ating probinsya na magpatuloy sa inyong aktibong pagsulong ng iba’t-ibang mga aktibidad sa ating komudidad bilang pagpapakita ng inyong kakayahan. Kayo po ay mga bayani!

The recently improved Bineng Water System in Bineng, La Trinidad is now ready to serve some 40 households. The P1 million project was funded and implemented by the Provincial Government of Benguet headed by Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas.

Ongoing Improvement of the 10.87-kilometer FMR linking Atok and Kabayan

The ongoing P225M improvement of the 10.87-kilometer Km. 49-Ambakian Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) subproject linking the towns of Atok and Kabayan, this province.

This project is seen to benefit some 1,263 households with 6,352 individuals in Paoay, Atok and Batan, Kabayan.

Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas said the Provincial LGU has allocated P52M as its counterpart funds in addition to the funds coming from the World Bank through Loan Proceeds and the Department of Agriculture (DA).

He also said this complements the Agriculture programs under the Provincial LGU’s HEALTHIER Benguet framework in line with its mission “Ensure improvement of quality of life in Benguet.”

The road has once been described risky and unsafe especially during rainy season. Its improvement is now at a 75.12% from completion as of February 23, 2022.

Improvement/Concreting of God-ang-Mancawal FMR (Access Road) Lubo-Sagpat Kibungan, Benguet

Farm-to-market road improved to provide safer access Some portions of the God-ang to Mancawal farm-to-market road in Lubo, Kibungan have been enhanced to allow for the better transport of agricultural products and to avoid vehicular accidents.
Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas said they approved the implementation of the P3-million project as it has been one of the major concerns of the locals who are mostly farmers.
Farmers in this community would struggle getting their products to the market with the once rough and bumpy road.
