Slope Protection completed in Tuel, Tublay

The P2.3M Construction of Slope Protection project in sitio Asin beside Sayangan Footbridge in Tuel, Tublay, Benguet has recently been completed. The said project was funded by the Provincial Government of Benguet headed by Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas to ensure the safety of residents in the said locality.

Driven by its mission: Ensure Improvement of Quality of Life in Benguet, the Province of Benguet obtained a human development index of 0.883 in 2009. The province of Benguet promises its constituents high age expectancy, accessible high caliber education and more than sufficient way of living. This, however, can't be achieved without the help of its people.

The cultural beliefs and innate characteristics of the people made it possible for them to strive and develop higher quality of life without destroying the cradle that they live in.
