Italian Ambassador Marco Clemente’s courtesy visit to Benguet Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas at the Provincial Capitol on October 28, 2022.

Ambassador Marco Clemente and his family were welcomed by the Provincial LGU through a Benguet traditional dance.

 

Driven by its mission: Ensure Improvement of Quality of Life in Benguet, the Province of Benguet obtained a human development index of 0.883 in 2009. The province of Benguet promises its constituents high age expectancy, accessible high caliber education and more than sufficient way of living. This, however, can't be achieved without the help of its people.

The cultural beliefs and innate characteristics of the people made it possible for them to strive and develop higher quality of life without destroying the cradle that they live in.
