Dr. Ryan Guinaran, Executive Assistant to Governor Diclas said there are many young potential writers in the province who need to be trained and developed to be able to produce artists who can contribute to uplifting the name of Benguet in the field of literary arts.

Driven by its mission: Ensure Improvement of Quality of Life in Benguet, the Province of Benguet obtained a human development index of 0.883 in 2009. The province of Benguet promises its constituents high age expectancy, accessible high caliber education and more than sufficient way of living. This, however, can't be achieved without the help of its people.
