Mandate
Advices the Honorable Governor, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and other Provincial and national officials concerned regarding disposition of Provincial funds and on such other matters relative to public finance;
Takes custody and exercises proper management of all provincial funds;
Maintains and updates the tax information system of the Province;
Takes charge of the proper disbursement of all provincial funds and such other funds the custudy of which may be entrusted to the Office by law or other competent authority;
Inspects under Authority all Private Commercial and Industrial Establishments within the Province in Relation to the Implementation of Provincial Tax Ordinance;
Collects taxes, fees and charges throughout the province as authorized by law and ordinances;
Exercises technical supervision over all treasury offices of the municipalities of Benguet; and
Exercises such other powers and performs such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinances.

The Benguet Cold chain Project offers cold chain services to bring in technological advancement on postharvest handling of locally produced temperate vegetables such as refrigerated trucking, crates for packaging and cold storage space for pre-processing that would minimize losses, maintain quality and freshness, and extend the shelf life.
