ROAD SECTIONS with an aggregate length of over 600 meters along Buyagan-Wangal-Banengbeng provincial road were constructed with road shoulders to help reduce passing conflicts between motor vehicles and pedestrians as well as to provide space for bicyclists to ride at their own pace. This includes the construction of a retaining wall and a barrier along a 45-meter section in Banengbeng to prevent vehicular accidents. Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas has earlier allocated P5 million for this project as part of the administration’s effort in providing easy and safe road access. IN PHOTO: Joint inspection activity by the Provincial Engineering Office and the Provincial Project Monitoring Committee to assess the quality of the project. Necessary recommendations were given to the construction firm for their appropriate action.
