Funtional Statement:
       To take charge of all procurement, inventory, building and ground maintenance and security of the province 


       To undertake all the activities necessary in the implementation of procurement of goods and services, inventory maintenance and security 


The Provincial General Services Officer shall take charge of the general services office, and shall:

  • Take custody of and accountable for all properties, real and personal, owned by the Province and those granted to it in the form of donation, reparation, assistance and counterpart of joint projects;

  • With the approval of the Governor assign building or land space to local officials or other public officials who by law, are entitled to such space;

  • Recommend to the Governor reasonable rental rates for the provincial properties, whether real or personal which will be leased to public or private entities by the province;

  • Recommend to the Governor reasonable rental rates of private properties which maybe leased for the official use of the Province;

  • Maintain and supervise janitorial, security, landscaping, plumbing, carpentry and other related services in all provincial buildings and other real property whether owned or leased by the province.
