- To take charge legal matters pertinently concerning the province and its thirteen municipalities
- To undertake all the activities necessary for the protection, undertaking and safeguarding the duties and rights of the province and its thirteen municipalities.
The Provincial Legal Officer shall take charge of the legal office, and shall:
Plan, supervise and manage the office as well as the staff/personnel.
Represent the province and its thirteen municipalities in all cases wherein local government may be involve.
Render legal opinion on administrative cases.
Attend meeting of SP, Department heads and others.
Exercise such other powers and perform such other duties and functions as may be prescribe by law or ordinance.
